ERH Update – November 16, 2018:
On November 16, 2018, the ERH treatment system heating electrodes were turned off. Soil and groundwater sampling confirmed that the Remedial Action Objective (RAO), 95% reduction of TCE in soil, groundwater, and non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL), has been achieved.
During this phase of the interim remedy, the ERH treatment system has removed approximately 5,600 pounds of TCE and approximately 12,000 gallons of fuel oil from the site.
Surface components of the ERH treatment system will be removed later this month.
