Site Update – January 31, 2020:
During the weeks of January 24 and January 31, 2020, CTS continued the In-Situ Chemical Injection (ISCO) treatment at the completed injection well casing locations. Potassium permanganate, used to break down contaminants into harmless compounds, was injected or emplaced at 13 of the 76 locations for a total of 37 completed locations. Site work was restricted due to poor weather during the week of January 24. Installation of emplacements will continue next week.
