Site Update – February 28, 2020:
During the week of February 24, 2020, CTS continued the In-Situ Chemical Injection (ISCO) treatment at the completed injection well casing locations. Potassium permanganate, used to break down contaminants into harmless compounds, was injected or emplaced at 9 of the 76 locations for a total of 71 completed locations. Site work was restricted due to poor weather. Installation of emplacements will continue next week.
