ERH Update – October 29, 2018:

ERH treatment system operating measures as of October 22, 2018:

• Average subsurface temperature was 99.6º C with a peak of 115.0º C.
• The ERH system has applied 100% of the estimated 8,255,000 kWh of energy needed for treatment.  Additional operation will be required to reach ERH system goals.
• The estimated TCE removal to-date is 5,329 pounds.
• The perimeter air monitoring system has shown no TCE emissions at the perimeter of the site. The air monitoring results will be available on EPA’s website at https://cumulis.epa.gov/supercpad/cursites/csitinfo.cfm?id=0402598.

Please note that you may see occasional steam from the thermal treatment unit during system operation.  This is normal water condensation caused by weather conditions, and not a release of TCE vapor.
